The Town Hall of Alfas del Pi, the Association Voluntariado Social and We Love Albir have announced the launch of a joint Photography Competition to find the best photos around, to include in our 2022 Food Bank Charity Calendar.
There are a range of prizes for the winning entries, including a night’s free hotel stay, a dinner in an Albir restaurant, and a spa session. All the money raised from the sale of the calendars will be used to feed those local residents registered on the Food Bank, a fabulous local charity that feeds up to 500 people a week.
Photos will be judged on originality and flair, and should feature local scenes, fiestas, heritage of Alfas del Pi, etc.. They will be independently judged by a team of 6, made up of photographic experts and a representative of the three organisors. (Please note photos must be taken within the municipality of Alfas del Pi, within the last 12 months).
Send your photos in by email, to dino@visitalbir.com. The closing date is 29th September 2021. The photos must be your own work, and by entering your photos, you also agree that they may be used in the calendar or other promotional activities in support of local tourism.
Let’s get snapping and make the best calendar ever! Last year we raised some 4,000 Euros for the Food Bank, we would love it to be even higher this year. Remember, the images must be horizontal, not vertical (to fit the calendar) and your name will be credited as author.
